Asiea Naqash reviews functioning of Tertiary Care, other Hospitals of Jammu city | KNO

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 14 (KNO) : Minister of State of H&UD, Health & Medical Education and Social Welfare, Asiea Naqash today reviewed the functioning of Tertiary Care health institutions and other hospitals in Jammu city. The meeting had threadbare discussion on several issues related to functioning of these health institutions besides reviewing the status of OPD, sanitation, repair and renovation works in GMC and other hospitals in the city. The Minister directed the Principal Medical College, Jammu and all the Superintendents of other Hospitals to ensure that issues in sewerage system in GMC and all other hospitals are redressed at the earliest. She also directed for speedy execution of all repair and replacement works including the AC system, lift system, broken mirror and window panes, floor tiles, repairs of wash room, Hand wash system etc. The Minister asked the Principal Secretary, H&ME to convene a meeting of all superintendents and review the functioning of their respective institutions. She stressed upon strict adherence to dress code by all the paramedics besides asking to provide medicine, IB fluids in Trauma hospitals and Emergency ward in all the hospitals. The Minister also asked for installation of another oxygen plant in SMGS Hospital. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary H&ME, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Principal GMC, Jammu, Dr Suninda Raina, Personal Officer, AHJ, AnsuyaJamwal, Medical Superintendent, SMGS, Hospital, Medical Superintendent SSH, Medical Superintendent, GMCH, Jammu, Medical Superintendent CD Hospital Jammu, Deputy Director Health, Medical Superintendent Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Dy. Medical Superintendent, Psychiatry Hospital, Dy. Medical Superintendent, Sarwal Hospital, Medical Superintendent, RGH-LRPU, Gangyal Hospital (KNO)
